Wedgewood Nougat

Some nougat is made in big machines in large volumes, but not ours. At Wedgewood Nougat we believe in quality first which is why our nougat is lovingly handmade in small batches to ensure the finest quality, soft honey nougat with a smooth texture and no granulation of sugars. In fact nothing has changed in our methods since Gilly first perfected the recipe in the family kitchen in 1999.  Preservative free, no artificial colours, no automated big nougat cooking machines… no short cuts…ever! At Wedgewood we go to great lengths to ensure we make the finest quality nougat possible. We only source the freshest and best quality ingredients and then process them all on site with lots of love and care.

Each nougat bar has been through no fewer than 24 hands-on process steps by the time it is ready for dispatching out of our doors. These steps include roasting nuts, hand cracking the freshest eggs, sifting sugar and mixing our own unique blend of raw honey.

Wedgewood Nougat is packed full of wholesome natural ingredients. To ensure our quality standards are met, we take great care in sourcing the finest ingredients available from trustworthy suppliers.  Our honey is carefully sourced directly from bee farmers around the country, using only specific flavours from a unique blend of blossoms. Our eggs are delivered fresh from a local egg supplier and are hand cracked to ensure quality is guaranteed.

Our nougat is now enjoyed in over 12 countries around the world including Japan, Russia, UK, USA, Qatar, Malaysia to name a few. Not only is it enjoyed as a snack at anytime during the day, Wedgewood Nougat is deliciously paired with fine wines or a soothing coffee or tea.

Original Wedgewood Nougat    The original recipe first made in the family kitchen in 1999. Soft and smooth, not too sweet, with rich tones of hand selected local honey and premium roasted nuts.  Flavours:

Biscuits

Another one of Gilly's delicious recipes, Angels Nougat Biscuits are a mouth-watering creation of crispy, toasted nougat and scrumptious butter biscuits. Great on their own, or enjoyed with a steaming cup of tea or coffee! To add to this we have two new delicious biscuit products : Our Almost Everything Biscuits and Our Not just any old GINGER Biscuits
