Pichulik

Company profile

Bespoke range of handcrafted neckpieces and ornamentaton designed by Katherine-Mary Pichulik. Made in Cape Town South Africa.

The Jewellery

The PICHULIK brand essence is the pursuit of imparting sacred feminine wisdom for the modern woman through organic materials like jade, shell, horn and hemp assembled in gentle forms that communicate powerful messages. The distinguishing components of any PICHULIK piece is the rope, fabrics and unique found materials, such as fossilised shapes from Niger, brass from West Africa, recycled glass from Ethiopia, Ghanaian agate and abalone shell.

PICHULIK Resort Wear

When PICHULIK introduced a line of resort wear in 2015, they committed to using natural and organic pesticide-free fabrics. They remain committed to this and the third collection was launched in 2017 as part of the Harvest Collection. Most of the garments are made from hand-dyed hemp, a fabric that yields more per acre than any other plant and benefits the soil to regenerate it. The team also worked with Mungo, a South African weaver of natural textiles, to create linen for selected garments in the range. Hemp drawstrings and detailing by PICHULIK further reinforce the Harvest aesthetic and message.
