Rodlin Design was founded in 1993, mainly as an auditorium seating and chair manufacturer, but has since expanded into the conference and hospitality market.

With our expertise and experience in providing seating solutions we believe that we are not only suppliers to the project but also an integral part of the design team. We manufacture products locally but also have licence agreements with European and American companies. This is to ensure that we can keep up with International trends and standards as well as augmenting the available product choices. With regard to standards, our products comply with the strict SABS requirements.

Although the Convention Centres are high profile projects, we are also involved in projects in the corporate environment, churches, tertiary education and council chamber requirements. Our close association with Sico, the largest American manufacturer of Hospitality equipment, as well as Caddie from France, has been very beneficial, as we have been able to develop our hospitality market and, to date, have supplied many of the hootels groups with conference, banqueting, room service and seating products.

The equipment we use in the Hospitality industry is modular, mobile and fold up, multifunctional equipment and complements our seating ranges, which are stackable, linkable and can be transported and stored on a dolly. Through the growth of Rodlin Design locally, we have been able to expand our market and currently we supply Angola, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Kenya and Nigeria.

Suppliers to Southern Sun, Cresta Lodge, Arabella Sheraton, Emporers Palace, Protea Hotels, Westcliff Hotel, Indaba Hotel, Sandton Convention Centre, Durban International Convention Centre and Cape Town International Convention Centre.
