Best known for their woven furniture and product designs, Cape Town-based design company Mooi! introduces "STRAPPED", an enviro-friendly lighting range with a difference.
These lights are made by hand with packing straps and wire mesh. Only CFC light fittings are used in the range, which includes wall sconces and pendants. The light fittings can be customised and scaled to suit the requirements of specific interiors.
According to Felix Holm of Mooi!, the company is hoping to supply the interior and decor industry, as well as retailers.
"We also work on custom projects in collaboration with other makers, designers and crafters, and do projects on commission."
