Company Profile :

Southern Africa's hot summers and cold winters are encouraging both business and home owners to consider methods of moderating temperatures to comfortable levels. With an ever increasing and expanding variety of products and materials available in the market today, people are becoming confused in their search for the best system.

We at Comfort Living are committed to help clarify your needs and assist you in your choice for the most cost effective systems for the hotel, lodge, home, office, factory. Cellulose Fibre is accepted by governments such as Germany, UK, Australia, USA, Sweden, and South Africa and is considered by many as the environment alternative.
Ceiling insulation is one of the most important parts of your home. To conserve energy and in the long run, money, it should be part of the planning stages of your home. There are however many materials today on the market and searching through the loads of information is disrupting and confusing.

Therm Guard Blown Cellulose Fibre Insulation is made from shredded newsprint, which is chemically treated to resist fire and fungal growth. Due to the small size of the particles, cellulose can 'flow' around obstructions to give 100& covering and a uniform fill. Blown cellulose has an average R-value (thermal resistance) of 3.6 per inch.

  • Fills every nook and cranny
  • Fire, rot and rodent resistant
  • Moisture has little or no effect on the R-value
  • Inexpensive to manufacture

EVAPORATIVE COOLING
Evaporative cooling has been used by the Romans and many other peoples of days gone by. Today we have the benefit of computerised systems that are controlled by a single electronic unit regulating cool, clean and fresh air into the house, office, shop, factory, hotel or restaurant..

South Africans enjoy an open lifestyle and Evaporative coolers will add to this by replacing air in a building at the rate of 25-35 times per hour with cool clean fresh air. One Evaporative cooler can control air flow in an area of up to 500m2. Apart from cooling the area it will also minimise the spread of germs and reduce unwanted smells in the building - improving productivity and quality of life.

The outstanding benefit of Evaporative Cooling is that doors and windows can remain open and the building can have a cool and comfortable temperature - not 16 degrees but between 20 and 26 degrees.

Warm air is drawn through wetted filter pads. The outside air temperature is lowered by the evaporative process and the cool air is directed into your home. This process is very similar to one standing on the beach and the airflow is from the see towards the land. The air is cool and refreshing; as apposed to a berg wind which is hot and mostly dry.
The same systems is used in conjunction with Therm Guard Cellulose Fibre insulation and a small modification that will allow hot air from your loft space to be drawn into your home during the winter.

100% FRESH AIR
With evaporative air conditioning there is a continuous flow of air into your home. Fresh and cool; this airflow continually forces out stale air, which is never re-circulated. Outside air often contains dust, pollen and pollutants. Evaporative air conditioning reduces these substances from entering your home by filtering outside air through wet filter pads, flushing airborne material from the air. Great for allergy sufferers!

Hospitality Experience :

Therm Guard Fibre is made from recycled, shredded newsprint; fire and fungus resistant and environmentally friendly.

Energy efficient evaporative air conditioning saves electricity, is fresh air and never re-circulated and reduces dust, pollen and pollutants entering the premises.
