'Structure' is addressed through the promotion of building using the sustainable Eternally Solar Earthbag system.

'Water' and 'Power' are the focus of the the Eternally Solar 'One Million' Climate Change Challenge which aims to replace 500 000 water and power-wasting showerheads with highly efficient units, thus saving, every year...

Goal:

To replace 500 000 water and power wasting showerheads across South Africa with resource-efficient water and power saving units

Benefits:

• One million South Africans saving money and making a difference


• Over one million tonnes of carbon emissions being saved annually (equivalent to taking 300 000 cars permanently off the road, or equivalent to the carbon savings from 400 000 solar geysers)


• Over one million megaWatt hours saved across South Africa annually (equivalent to the power produced by Koeberg in 5 weeks or enough electricity to power 300 000 average SA homes


• One million swimming pools of water saved annually (39 billion litres, sufficient to fill Cape Town Steenbras dam)


• Households can save R2000 to over R3000 per year on soaring utility costs
